Drooling

Addison is a drooling queen these days!! She is teething so she always has drooling coming out of her mouth. Of course that just adds to the wonderful reflux issue. Needless to say it's hard to keep outfits clean on Addison; but, then again, I think that might be a baby thing!

Here is my little drool monster.....

4 Months Old (on June 8th)

Addison turns 4 Months Old

So I'm a little late posting Addison's 4 months old pictures but what's new. I think her 4 month pictures turned out so cute. She wore a cute ice cream smocked bubble that her Aunt Kathryn got for her. I love smocked clothing so much....let's hope Addison still likes it when she is a little older. Anyways....we went to Addison's 4 month check-up (a week late). She was 13 lbs 3 oz and 25 1/2 inches tall. She is in the 90th percentile for her height and 40th percentile for her weight. Not so sure where she is getting her height....I'm sure it will slow down at some point.

Addison is rolling from front to back and back to front. She mostly rolls from back to front; but, according to our doctor that is the hardest for children to pick up. I thought it was so cute that while I was taking her 4 month pictures, she rolled over & then looked at her monthly marker board drawing that I did this month.

Family Pictures

Because I cannot take pictures with all three of us, I have to have to hire someone to take family pictures. My cousin loves photography so I had her take some pictures of us Memorial Day weekend. It was not the best weekend to do family pictures on the beach. We started out at the beach....it was very hot & windy. Oh, and tons of people still there at 6pm. Needless to say we did not get any good pictures at the beach. We then decided to go to a friends dock to try to get a few pictures since we were all dressed for pictures. The pictures turned out good with the exception of me not being happy with how I looked in the pictures. I think once I saw the pictures, it was a turning point for me to finally get this extra baby weight off me. I think I am going to have to starve myself for a month or so to get these last pounds off....after all it is bathing suit season. I started meeting my friend Kindall who also just had a baby in the past year (Mason - I have posted pictures of him on the blog) at the gym. It is really nice having someone to keep you accountable at the gym & it makes working out fun by having someone to talk to as well!! Okay, sorry I started rambling......here are a few pictures from Memorial weekend. Thanks Tori for taking the pictures of us.....(you did a great job)!

Rebekah

My cousin Rebekah who is not little anymore and has grown up to be a fabulous young lady is in Romania. I am so proud of her. She just graduated from Berry College in May. (I hate that we missed her graduation.) After much prayer, she decide that God was calling her to lands far away from the states. She will be in Romania for 10 weeks volunteering with Livada Orphan Care. She will be working with children. I think she is so brave going there.....she is going with about 20 others from the states on this mission. She does not know any of the people. Please pray that the next 10 weeks would be uplifting and powerful for Rebekah. She is an amazing individual and I pray that the Lord will use her to do his works! If you are interested in her journey, you can visit her blog at http://www.bekahswords.blogspot.com/. She is going to try to update as often as possible.

First Outdoor Concert...

We have been super busy....but what's new? Addison went to her first outdoors concert two weekends ago. She loved it. We got there early & hung out. She enjoyed laying on Aunt Kathryn's blanket. She had so much fun that she was sound asleep by the time that the main act, Natasha Bedingfield, came on stage @ 9pm. She slept during the whole concert. We are so blessed to have a child that can hang in any setting. But I guess that is good since Nick and I like to stay on the go so much!! Here are a few pictures from the concert.

Just Pictures....

Just random pictures.....

Addison makes her Debut.....at only 3 1/2 months

Addison makes her big debut as the Red Balloon from "Good Night Moon" at only 3 1/2 months! At daycare they had a spring program, "Tales from the Crib" 2 weeks ago & all the kids were involved. Each class did a different book. She was a wonderful Red Balloon!! All the children were so cute in their different parts. It is amazing they were able to get all the infant ready for the program & none of them cried during the program either!! The older children were just as cute! You can tell that all the kids really enjoy being at the preschool!! Here are pictures of Addison's debut.....

First Day at Daycare

Addison's first day at daycare went very well. I am very happy with our daycare!!! I feel really good about all the people at the daycare. You can tell that they all enjoy being around children & really care about the kids too!!! Here are the pictures from the first day....

Summer Time is Here!!!

I thought I would post a few pictures. I have a good many that I need to post; but, here are just a few for now. All of these pictures were taken with my Mom's camera so they are not as sharp as what I am used to; but, they were too cute not to post. Addison is with Henry who is about 2 months older. They both looked so cute in their swimsuits!! I will post some pictures of Addison's first day of daycare on the next blog as well as her first school program (yes, school program....I know she is only 3 1/2 months. She was the red balloon in the school program. All the children including the infants had a part). But here are a few pictures for now.....
