My Beautiful Girl

We had our first family outing with Addison. We went to the Mighty Eighth Museum on Sunday. Addison was very good & enjoyed riding around in her stroller.

As of the last doctors visit on Friday; Addison gained back her birth weight plus some. She was up to 7 pounds 10 ounces. It would not surprise me if she is at 8 pounds now....but we do not have another doctors appointment for a few weeks so I will just have to keep guessing at her weight.

She is sleeping pretty good at night. She will sleep about 4 hours before she wakes up before her first feeding in the middle of the night; then the second feeding she will sleep about 2-3 hours. So, I'm getting a little sleep; but, it could be better. I'm sure as she gets older it will get better....let's hope anyway!!!


Addison & Kat are getting along good. I was a little worried about how Kat would react to Addison. She really doesn't care too much.....Addison will be screaming or crying & Kat just sits there & sleeps.

The next 3 pictures, Mommy was playing around with the camera & took a few shots of Addison's cute little hands & feet.

I set the black back drop up the other day & got this really cute shot of Addison.....boy do babies have a rough life.....

We took our first walk the other day....one of our neighbors took the picture for us. Addison loved being outside & it was such a nice day. I can't believe this weather for February.....but I certainly will take it!!!

Addison had another bath the other day.....this sponge bath went much better for Addison! I think she may eventually like bath time!!! Doesn't she look so sweet.....

Addison had her first sponge bath last night. She did not like it too much. I think once she is able to take a bath in a little bit of water she will enjoy it more. Grandma was here to help with giving the bath.

Yes, I am looking a little tired & rough! Night times have been a little interesting & let's just say that I am the type of person who likes my sleep! But it's all worth it for this beautiful child!!

1st Doctor Visit

Addison had her first doctor's visit today. She did great....she didn't get any shots so that may have been why she was soo good!! Dr. Shelley said to keep up doing whatever we were doing. By the time we left the hospital on Monday she was down to 6 pounds 14 ounces; well at today's docotor's visit she was at 7 pounds 3 ounces. Dr. Shelley said she was doing great & to keep it up. Our next visit will be in just over a week. I think at that visit mommy may cry (I think she may get shots that day; but, we will not think about that for now).

Addison Leigh

Addison Leigh arrived Friday, February 8, 2008 @ 1:53 pm. She was 7 lbs 8 oz.; 21 inches long with a head full of jet black hair! Here are a few pictures of Addison. I will post more very soon! We just arrived home today....sorry many of you did not get the "arrival e-mail". And I thought, I had everything planned out. For some reason only half of you got the e-mail & the other half did not.....so; again, sorry! We are all doing well! Well Mom is a little sleep deprived; but, loves being a Mom so it is worth it

Thanks for all the calls, e-mails, and visits!! Addison is such a blessing from God & Nick and I feel truely blessed to have her wonderful, precious daughter!!
