I love photographing the family above. The mom loves photography & is always excited about having the kids & family photographed. The night we took these pictures, I think we might have picked the hottest night in August on record. The kids were great.....they kept smiling till the end!!!

The above little girl was turning 1 and her Grandmother hired me to come take pictures of her first birthday party. I had a great time photographing her.....she was so cute!!!!

Chrissie & Shane are my dear friends who just had the little baby on Monday. While she was down in June we got the chance to do some pregnancy pictures for them. Of course it was great fun!!!

Micheal & Catharine got engaged recently.....Congrats to them! Their wedding is in Charleston in April 2008. We had a great time doing their pictures.....we were up extra early to get these shots!

Shelley & Chad are expecting too. I love the black & white picture of Shelley laughing. I just think it is such a priceless picture. I love when I capture true emotion in pictures!!!

Cousins are the best. It was the first time that this group of cousins have been together all at once so this was a neat photo session. All the children were so cute.



So these are just a few of the pictures that I have taken over the past month. So, I would promise to get better at this; but, I'm not going to make any promises. I will just say that I will try to not take so long to post next time....Till then......take care!!

So far behind....

Okay, so I said in an earlier blog that I was bad at this blog thing....well I'm actually really bad. My last blog was when....yes I know too long ago to remember. A lot has happened since my last blog. Well Nick and I have some exciting news....we are pregnant!!! I am 14 weeks....my due date is Feb 14, 2008. I know, how sweet. I actually hope for a different birthdate just so the child can enjoy his birthday in school & have his own celebration! But when God decides it's time, I just have to deal with it. Besides, this whole getting pregnant thing was in his hands & it finally happened! So we will find out in 3 more weeks if we are having a boy or girl!!! I really can't wait!!! I'm counting the days!!!

We are going to Disney in 3 weeks too with some friends of ours & their little boy. We are going to have so much fun. I can't wait. I told Nick & our friends that I could watch Jackson while they got to ride some of the other rides that Jackson nor I can go on. Truth be known that would be fine with me even if I was pregnant. I'm not the biggest fan of roller coaster type rides!

My best friend Chrissie, had her baby on Monday. I can't wait to get to hold & give him hugs & kisses. She & her husband Shane live in Atlanta so it will be another month before that happens. But don't worry I will have my camera ready to take bunches of pictures. I will try to post some pictures......you know how I am at this blogging thing. Out of all my friends, I have 4 friends who are pregnant other than me....well Chrissie is one down, so still 3 more to go. Two are in due in October and the other is due about a week & half after me. We do a friend vacation every year with that group of friends.....needless to say, next year will be interesting. 2 of our other friends already have children. Brandi has 2 and Melissa has 3 (she just had twin boys about 6 months ago). That group of girls above are the best girlfriends that a girl could ask for & I can't wait for all of our kids to grow up together. I have known all these girls since childhood....Chrissie going back to when I was 6 weeks old....if that is even possible.
