Can't get enough...

Addison can't get enough of being outside. I really do think she would live outside if we would let her. Every night when we get home from work after dinner we have either been going outside to the park, playing in the pool or taking a walk. This past week it seemed that we did the water thing most nights. (Oh - Nick calls the pool our redneck pool - he didn't want it but, I got one anyways. Addison loves it & that's all that really matters. I think Nick is okay with it now; but, I still think it's funny that he calls it our redneck pool.)

I love the time that we get as a family after work because it's a great chance for Nick, Addison, and I to spend quality time together.

Isn't this a cool picnic table. Uncle Pat made it for Addison. That was very sweet of him to spend his time making it for her to enjoy!! We are going to get alot of use out of it this summer. If you need something made that is out of wood - Pat is your man!! He does a great job!!!

Memorial Day 2009

Memorial Day, the rain finally decided to stop!!!! I think it rained for 10 straight days. I may be a little off in my numbers; lets just say that it rained for days!!! Finally on Memorial Day, the sun came out. We were watching Alex for Gray & Kerri since they had to work. We decided to take Addison & Alex to the beach! We got to the beach & I realized that I had forgotten Addison's bathing suit. Thank goodness my parents were meeting us and they had not left yet. So I sent them to Walmart for a bathing suit for her. Mom found a cute one too!!! Then once we got everything down to the beach, I realized that I had left my camera in the car. So this is the only picture that I got of Addison and Alex. As you can see, they were both exhausted after a day at the beach!

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY....

With all the rain, Addison was begging to go outside! She would just look out the window like a sad little girl....

Commotion in the Ocean

Addison's school had their spring time program on May 21st. This year it was Commotion in the Ocean. Addison was an Octopus. When she walked in she saw me & started crying because she could not come to me. Once she got on stage she was fine & stopped crying. She was super cute & stood up there & danced. The funny thing was she was doing her own dance. Everyone was laughing....it was super cute!!! That's my girl!!

Mini-session with Addison

On Sunday morning while staying at the beach I got up fed Addison quickly and we went out & did a little 20 minute mini-photo session. I'm glad that we did it early Sunday morning since it started raining again Sunday afternoon. I got a few cute shots of her. Thanks to Aunt Kathryn & Daddy for being my assistants & helping out!! Happy Summer....
