Pay special note to Addison's face. I picked her up from school yesterday and it actually looked alot worst. She fell from the slide on the playground. Her teacher said that they fully expected her to start crying instead she got back up and wanted back on the slide. I think I may have a rough little girl! Funny story that goes along with my little dare devil. On yesterday, before I even knew that she had hurt herself, I pulled into the parking lot to do a double take at the playground. There was a little girl on top of the picnic table and I saw one of the teachers running over there. Then I realized that it was Addison.....needless to say, I'm never surprised to get ouch reports. I'm actually shocked that we haven't had more with Addison being so active. Her teachers tell me all the time that she is such a "busy body" (ie active, hyper, whatever you want to call it)!! hehe....I wouldn't have it any other way!! I love having a child so full of life....it keeps Nick and I on our feet at all times. Our next child will probably be mellow and mild!

14 Months
Addison no longer needs me to go to sleep at night. Starting this past month, I hold her for a few minutes for bedtime and then I place her in her crib. Then she goes to sleep on her own. I know that it's best for her that she is able to get herself to sleep; but, I have to say as a Mom I miss her needing me to rock or hold her to go to sleep. She also officially is not taking a bottle even at night. Before this past month, she was only taking a bottle at night; but, starting this past month she no longer needs a bottle at night!!! I was actually surprise that she did not even miss it!!
Addison can now say hi, bye, doll, no, eyes. Speaking of eye, she has been able to show me her belly button when asked for several months; but, now she knows where her eye is as well. I can ask her where are you eyes and she points to either mine eyes or hers.
She is now able to run around and follows small directions. I taught her how to throw away her diaper this month. She now loves to throw anything that we ask her to throw away in the trash can! She started to become gentle with Kat this month and started to give her kisses. She loves giving out hugs and kisses!!
She started wanting to wear bracelets and bows or hair clips. Now that's not to say that she is going to leave it in; but, when she takes it out she brings it to me to put back in her hair. She loves shoes too!! Addison tries to put mine and Nick's shoes on....it is so funny. She hasn't figured out how to walk in them yet. She will bring me her shoes and want me to put them on.
Addison loves being outside. She cries when we have to come in. Nick and I have to be careful to say the word "outside". If she hears the word she goes running to the door and tries to get it opened. Then if we do not go outside with her she stomps her feet and starts to cry (I wonder where she gets that from...hum).
She is becoming more and more like a little girl and no longer a baby. It's sweet and sad at the same time. I think any Mom knows what I mean. We love you baby!!!
