Sunday Nick helped Grandpa build a building to put his riding lawn mowers in the backyard. While Nick, Dad & Jim (a neighbor to my parents) worked hard, Addison, Grandma, and I got to play just a little. We played in the sprinkler some, went riding in Addison favorite toy car, and just hung out! Of course, little did we know that Addison would wake up early Monday morning with a fever....
Monday evening we were still at my parents house because of the A/C (they could not come & fix it until Tuesday morning). Addison woke up sick early Monday morning so she was stuck inside all day long. Well once it cooled down a bit (you know maybe to 85ish degrees), we took Addison outside to play for just a few minutes. Maybe we are bad parents for letting our sick child with a fever play outside; but, she wanted to go outside so bad! So we figured a few minutes wouldn't hurt her. My parents neighbors had a free spot on their driveway so we let Addison ride down in her car by herself!! She LOVED it!! This was not her first time riding down the driveway. Don't worry we make sure that there are no cars coming & that someone stands at the end of the driveway. And the driveway is not that steep.
