Addison starts Daycare

So today was Addison's first day of daycare. I was very proud of myself, I didn't cry! I didn't want to leave her; but, I didn't cry! I was so excited when I left work this afternoon to go pick her up! Once we got home I enjoyed playing with her then we ate dinner. After dinner Nick, Addison and I went on a walk/run. I really want to keep this up....I think it's good for all three of us. It allows us to spend family time together while getting some exercise too! I am trying to get back into running. It's amazing how when you have not run in over 8 or 9 months you have to rebuild your endurance back up.

Okay, enough of me rambling.....here are a few pictures that I took of Addison over the weekend. I will post the picture I took this morning of her first day at daycare in the next few days once I get it uploaded to the computer. Anyways, here are just a few random pictures....

Congrats to Gary & Kerri!!!!

He was 8 pds 6 oz; 19 in. long. Kerri says that he has a little bit of hair & has cute little fat rolls!! I can't wait to see him tomorrow!!!

Addison's Baptism

Below are Addison's godparents & Father O'Brien. Addison blessed to have Chrissie & Shane and Michael & Catharine in her life. Shane was not able to make it the weekend of Addison's baptism because of work obligations so we missed him. I wish that I had a better picture of us....at the time this picture was taken there were several camera's so we did not know which camera to look at.....so Chrissie or Michael if either one of you have a better picture that was taken, please e-mail it to me!! Thanks again for agreeing to be Addison's Godparents!!! We love you all!!!

Special thanks to Besty....she repaired the baptism dress that has been in Nick's family for at least 100 years. It was so special to be able to have Addison wear the same dress that her Dad was baptised in and even her GG. Since Besty repaired the dress there is a good chance that one day Addison's children may be able to wear the same dress when they are baptised.

I love the below picture. All the kids love Addison so much. They all want to hold her every time they see her. She doesn't mind either!!! She was laughing with the kids that day!! Too cute!!!

Foster & Addison meet for the first time in person. They are both so cute....they are going to be such good friends!! Foster is going to protect Addison like a big brother!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!

Mother's Day has a whole new meaning to me now that I am a Mom. I mean I have always appreciated my Mom & all that she has done for me; but, now that I'm a Mom I realize even more how much I love her! I realize all the hard work that goes into taking care of a child. It is the hardest yet most rewarding job out there!!!! I appreciate the fact that she was always there for me. My Mom is such a kind, loving woman. She is the type of woman that would do anything to help you out! I can only pray & hope that I turn out to be half as good of a Mom to Addison as she is to me. So Mom, thank you for all that you have done for me & will do for me in the future!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Back to work....

Okay so I'm back at work after being on leave for 12 weeks. Addison will not start daycare for another 2 weeks. My Mom and Nick are taking turns watching her over the 2 weeks with the exception of one day that my friend Nancy is keeping her. I know that I promised on this blog to post pictures of Addison's baptism. I still have not forgotten & will post them, I promise. I have been busy trying to get the photo's organized from the wedding that I shot 2 weekends ago. I am trying to get those posted this weekend for the couple. It was a beautiful wedding & I know that Erin & Danny can't wait to see their pictures. I will post a few pictures from their wedding in the next few blogs too. I also have pictures to post of Gary & Kerri's baby shower that we gave them at our house over the weekend.

I got to meet the Thomas twins tonight! Margaret & I have been friends since we were 5 years old so it is so neat to have children the same age. Margaret lives in Brunswick now; but, it will still be so neat to have our children play together from time to time just as we did when we were kids!!
