Easter Time & More

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!! We had yet again another busy weekend. The first two pictures are from last week that I took that I wanted to include in the blog. This 1st picture is for Dad....he is always wanting to know how Kat is doing with Addison. As you can see from this picture that Kat & Addison get along.

This is just a random picture that I took last week that I thought was a sweet picture of Addison...of course I think all pictures are sweet of Addison.

I had a class reunion on Friday night that Nick and I attended. We had alot of fun & it was nice to get out! Grandma & Grandpa babysat Addison.....I know that Addison enjoyed her time with her grandparents! I think she was good for them!! Here is a picture of Nick & I before the reunion. I didn't take any pictures at the actual reunion....I can't wait to see some of the pictures that were taken by friends!


On Saturday.....Addison got to meet her Godmother for the first time. Chrissie & Shane came over & spent some time with Addison. We had such a nice time visiting with them...the only thing missing was their son Foster (he was back in Atlanta with his Dowie). Foster & Addison will get to meet in April. I can't wait for them to meet!!! Back to Chrissie & Shane being Godparents....as I said in the previous post about Michael & Chrissie being the Godparents; Addison is so blessed to have such wonderful people in her life!!! She is super blessed by having both couples in her life!!! Her is a picture of Chrissie & Shane with Addison.....Chrissie, thank you for accepting to be Addison's Godmother!!


Then on Sunday of course was Easter.....we got up early to make sure that we were at church a little early since Easter Sunday is always packed. It was our first Sunday back at church since Addison was born. It was nice to be back in church! Addison had such a cute dress thanks to Aunt Mel who got it for her. Thanks Aunt Mel for such a pretty dress & sweater!!! I can't believe that I didn't take a picture of just Addison on Sunday....I am going to dress her back up in the dress this weekend to take a few pictures of just her in the dress. She looked so pretty in her little purple flowered dress! Here are a few pictures from Easter Sunday....

This 1st picture (I can't believe that I am including it...not a great picture of me) Nick took of Addison & I sleeping Easter morning....Nick (the wonderful husband and Dad he is) got up earlier than us to start cooking the mac & cheese that he was making to take to my parents house. Most mornings, I pull Addison into bed with us around 7 or 8 am to have some snuggle time. I love it....she sleeps so soundly when she is close to us.

Busy Weekend....

We had a busy weekend.....we had 2 wedding showers (a dual shower) on Saturday, a baby shower that I was not able to attend as well and 2 birthday parties on Sunday! Wow what a weekend....the bad thing (well not really a bad thing) is that between now & the beginning of May our weekends are pretty booked! The first set of pictures are random....

Here are two pictures from the wedding shower on Saturday. I can't believe that I didn't get any pictures of Addison from the shower. She was passed around & everyone enjoyed seeing her and holding her.

The birthday parties on Sunday were Addison's first birthday parties....she had a good time (she slept most of the time)....which really means Mommy & Daddy had a good time! We got a few pictures of Addison & Mason together. It was so cute....

The other birthday party was for the Swenson twins. They turned one actual the same day Addison was born so now Addison, Ethan & Brett all share the same birthday!!!

Addison also got a chance to meet Henry this weekend too....so we got a picture of them together.

Addison turns 1 Month

Addison turned 1 month old on March 8th. Of course I had to take a picture. I am going to try to take a picture each month on her "monthly" birthday. I got the idea from my friend Melissa who does this with her children....what a neat idea.









Addison met her Godfather for the 1st time in person last weekend. Here is a picture of Michael holding her for the 1st time. Michael is going to be a wonderful Godfather to Addison. Addison has not met her Godmother yet in person. She will meet Chrissie next weekend & we can't wait. Addison is so blessed to have Chrissie & Shane and Michael & Catharine in her life. I know that all four will love her & be true blessings in her life. While Chrissie & Michael will be the listed Godparents; Addison will know all four as her Godparents. I consider her blessed to have all four. I know that I keep using the word blessed; but, that is really the only word to describe it. I cannot say thank you enough to all four for agreeing to be in Addison's life and agreeing to be her Godparents.....THANK YOU!!!

Oh, I got my pregnancy pictures back last week. They turned out wonderful. It is hard to believe that I was that big at one time...Wow. Well that is it for now....My mom is here today. I asked her to come over so I could get the house back in order. It's pretty bad....so off to get organized & cleaned!!!

It's Been a Week....

Wow...so Addison while she is a wonderful baby has been crying a lot. Nick and I could not figure out why & were wondering if we just had a cranky baby. Well finally enough was enough....we took her to see Dr. Shelley. Well after describing everything; he feels that she has a reflux problem. She spits up a lot, doesn't want to sleep during the day, arches her back (all of which are signs of reflux). So the solution; we will need to supplement with each feeding a small amount of allergenic formula. So far so good.....if we find that this doesn't work there is a plan B & plan C; but, for now, we will pray that plan A works!!! Here is a picture of what happens when you start incorporating formula & Daddy helps....

Also this past week, Addison umbilical cord fell off so now we can do "real" baths and tummy time. Addison loves bath time!!!! Tummy time....well; after a few minutes to has enough.

Addison is finally starting to enjoy the swing; well depending on what kind of mood she is in at the time.

She loves sleeping on Nick. It's so funny & sweet how peaceful she sleeps when in our arms or close to us.Well, that's it for now..... I hope everyone is doing well. I know there are still a few of you that I owe calls to.....I promise; I haven't forgotten!
