Here are Addison's 9 month pictures that I am really late posting. Her 9 month pictures were the hardest yet. Trying to get her to stand or sit by the board was a big task & having her smile all at once...Wow!!! As you can see, well we were not too successful this month. Now I must admit when I took these pictures on her 9 month birthday, I was in a hurry so I did not take as much time as I would have liked. Oh, well the pictures still show her growth! She is roughly 29 inches (that is according to Nick and I measuring her - which means we may be a little off) & weighs just over 18 pounds.
She is cruising all the furinture & loves getting around either by cruising or crawling. She is super fast with crawling!!! She also can transfer from one peice of furniture to another in order to get where she wants to go. She loves being walked while you hold her hands!! She is into everything. Daycare asked the other day if she was as much as a "busy body" at home? I laughed & said you have met her Dad right? Another funny story, the other day Addison climbed into the walker at daycare by herself...her teachers heard her crying out & looked over. She had climbed into the walker by herself....but had both legs in one hole! So yes, she has started to climb. Now she can't climb anything that is too high; but, if it low & leads to something higher she is not afraid & will do it!
She has started to eat alot more table food. She loves spaghetti, green beans, squash, & oranges. She really is a good eater; but, has gotten where she wants table food over "baby food". We still give her both of course.
Addison can say dada & now I think she associates Nick and dada! She also says Cat. I would say that Cat was her first word! It is so cute when she says it when Kat, our cat, comes by. She loves our cat.....only problem, she has not figured out how to be gentle yet. She attacks Kat most of the time....of course all because she is excited!!!
Addison has started to point....not sure how or where she learned how to point. But it's cute for now! Dr. Shelley, our pediatrician, says pointing is a huge milestone (did you know that; I sure didn't).
Addison continues to be a good baby & loves to laugh & smile. She is a very happy, active baby!!! Nick and I are continued to be blessed with such a wonderful daughter!!!
